Contradictory to yesterdays post... the weather has been fabulous! After a lovely lunch and day in the valley gardens with two of my friends i headed back home for a pizza night!

rain rain go away come back another day.

English people need to come to terms with the weather... it's the middle of the summer over here and grey rainy skies have dominated the past few days. I know it's not the sweetest of times but embrace it to the most. I decided to take a trip to a quaint little coffee shop in a nearby village, snuggled up in a brown leather armchair and delved into 'the old curiosity shop' by Charles Dickens, accompanied by a cappuccino.
My outfit consisted of my comfiest jumper, jeans and converse.
Soundtrack of my day: "ivy and gold" by Bombay Bicycle Club... it brightens up any rainy day, in particular todays!

"Let the rain kiss you. Let the rain beat upon your head with silver liquid drops. Let the rain sing you a lullaby." -Langston Hughes

my perfect afternoon reading my magazines, drinking bottle green and writing my book.

Saturday afternoon, the barbeque is manned by the boys and cakes baked by girls, this is the first of many barbies to come this summer! There's nothing better than lazy evenings with your best friends, now school has finished for good... it's lazy days all around... until i eventually find work...
bisou !

summer is here!

beautiful evening by the sunny seaside of saltburn with the girls.

Happy 420.

I would like to dedicate this post to the most beautiful green substance god hath put upon this planet. The bible says on the seventh day of God creating the world he rested... I'll tell you what he did.... he got chonged. Let's embrace the race of the space plant... wacky baccy you are forever in our hearts...

13.04.10

I found myself longing for a moment of Euphoria. I listened as my speakers blasted 'Above and Beyond' through my skin and sat still wondering of heaven, of complete Nirvana and paradise. I wonder if I will ever come across that in my lifetime though I shall patiently wait in eagerness for my afterlife to be held within a paradise or pandemonium,.
Deepness patrols the corridors and walls of my mind and longing rules as I desire for something unknown.

Grok: to understand

I love how everything turns into mission impossible when you've just painted your nails, it's nearly impossible to do anything... forget opening things, that you have to resort too with your toes!
Today I am heading off to the shops to spend my money on what I would have spent on my 'should have been date'. I think i'll buy a new scarf and call it my 'Fuck You' purchase!

Primarni.

Primark you've astounded me! This gorgeous blazer was picked up for £10, yes ten smackers! I've fallen in love with this blazer, i was especially happy with the quality of tailoring from such a cheap piece of clothing! I'm looking forward adding some old vintage buttons and wearing this item to DEATH. Happy, happy, bunny.

C is for Colour

My new nail varnish from h&m, i have my precautions as to dressing around it as I may look like pat butcher/panto.

C is for Charity

Red scarf purchased for 50p from a local charity shop, i love bargain buying!

C is for Clogs

I can't seem to get my head around the oddity of clogs crawling into the top fashion spring/summer shows. A Dutch tradition breaking into the high end brands such as Chanel seems unlawfully fashionable. Whether breaking barriers of what we know as 'trendy' footwear is in their minds, or just simply comfort, this is a 'key piece' i will not be purchasing unless role play of a 'pretty little Dutch girl' is requested.
I'm starting to regret having my mac in my room, I could never leave my social networking habits alone for more than two hours a day, but it stares at me calling me to come and update and chat. With exams leering in I'm not sure this was the best idea. The only could thing is that I am finally getting somewhere with my book, chapters are forming and if I ever manage to finish it, I'll have my trusty pixar lamp computer to thank. I'm going to finish this coffee and start some revision... so long as facebook, twitter, and blogger will not distract me.
